Red Postal
In ossequio al principio di rivalorizzazione di un oggetto ben costruito 60 anni fa, per la penna Red Postal è stato scelto un sistema di carica “storico” di facile manutenzione e di collaudato funzionamento.
The pen Red Postal was inspired by well-made objectsproduced 60 years ago. Its filling system was selected among the “historical" ones, easy to maintain and time tested.
La penna tornita da barra piena, da mani esperte si presenta nella sua forma ogivale in un rosso trasparente nel serbatoio e in nero nella sezione e nel cappuccio.
The pen, skilfully turned from solid bar has a ogival shape with a transparent red barrel paired with a black cap and section.
La penna è alimentata da un sistema di carica “a pompetta” con capillare calibrato per aumentarne la capacità.
The pen is equipped with the oldest pneumatic filling system, the bulb filler, where a calibrated breather tube increases the ink capacity.
La veretta, tornita da una barra di ottone piena è stata realizzata per proteggere il bordo del cappuccio anche sul suo profilo, riporta il logo Duchessa 1935 delimitato da un disegno di origine etrusca.
The cap band has been shaped with a protective edge to reduce the risk of cracking the cap rim. It has a laser-engraved Duchessa 1935 logo, enclosed in an etruscan decoration.
Rispetto al tradizionale acciaio ‘’bianco’’, il pennino semiflex come le altre metallerie è galvanizzato in rutenio.
The semiflex steel nib, as well as the other metal parts, are electroplated with Ruthenium.
